Rebecca and Kirsten gave their first concert together at the 2006 Festival of Music at St.Barrahane's Church, Castletownsend, and, since then, have appeared at various venues, most notably in Septmber 2007 in a performance of Saint-Saens Carnival of the Animals in the CIT School of Music Curtis Audiorium, Cork, with the Carducci Quartet and guests, conducted by Geoffrey Spratt. more >>

Oboe and piano

Emmet Byrne and Rebecca formed their oboe and piano duo in 2004 at the Hochshule für Musik, Köln, Germany. They have given critically acclaimed concerts in Ireland and Germany, and, in 2006, were invited to tour Japan as part of the EU-Japan Fest. As well as performing standard works from the piano and oboe repertoire, they also enjoy exploring lesser-known works and contemporary compositions. more >>
